To my legions of fans. (Visualize tumbleweeds blowing across these pages. Imagine wind howling through the words.)

I have enjoyed writing these rants. I may well come back some day and do more. However, one of my many other projects is writing fiction. I recently showed one of my stories to some editors and authors that I know. Many of them think I have the potential to get paid for my writing. So I will be spending as much time writing as before, but I will be writing fiction instead of political commentary.

A government-funded course that teaches teenage girls how to walk in high heels has raised eyebrows in London.

Why has a course for walking in high heels at a local college raised any eyebrows? It is not as if a college education currently has any value.

Over the years the goal of education has changed.

Before government took over, education was provided by and for individuals who wanted to better themselves, and make an impact on the world. After the government took over education, it was to create a class of incompetent, hopeless and corrupt slaves to labor under their slave masters orders, or be sent to the gulags for reeducation.

It was educated people who believed in freedom who created the United States in order to have a better life for themselves and their children. Unfortunately for the government, those are the kind of people that no government that wants to stay in power for any length of time can have as ~~slaves~~ citizens. If you believe that you can make a better life for yourself and your children, you are less likely to accept the abuses that government dishes out. You are more likely to stand up for your rights and fight for them. If the government can convert citizens into slaves, then the government can continue until it collapses from the greed and corrupt that this kind of system promotes. In case you have forgotten your American history (or are a college graduate, and therefore never learned), America was formed by people fleeing a repressive government.

I do have a few more questions and comments for you before ending this rant.

In California (and probably elsewhere), there are many students that can NOT read or write in ANY language!

How could a government that is facing bankruptcy, and the inability to supply welfare for the jobless and the alien invaders, come up with funding for a college class to teach walking in high heels?

How could any college, teachers or staff, allow their premises be used for teaching walking in high heels?

Why aren't the faculty and students rioting and looting and burning down that college and the town it is located in? In California, the students riot and loot and burn down local businesses for the "rights" of alien invaders to invade the United States and for the "rights" of Muslim terrorists to kill citizens in the United States and abroad.

Therefore, I believe that the government controlled education system is finally approaching the degree of success that it has been aiming for all along. Very soon, the only value a college degree will have is to wipe yourself after going to the bathroom.

So the bill that "you must vote for to find out what is in it", the bill that is "too important for you to have time to read and understand" had the opposite effect of what was claimed. However, the bill had the exact result that was intended. Which is why there are now millions of Americans who have lost jobs. That is why those lost no longer exist and will NEVER come back. Which is why millions of Americans are now facing losing their homes. This is what Barack Hussein Obama calls saving the economy!

If the $800 billion stimulus (welfare for the wealthy) had been divided evenly among all the men, women and children (and illegal aliens that the left wing democrats care so much for), everybody in this country would have gotten a check for more than $100,000 each. If every person in this country started spending money like drunken sailors (or sober congressmen and senators), the current economy would look very different.

So you can rest assured that when the liar-in-chief tells you something, that it is a lie, and likely will have the opposite effect of what it is claimed it will do.

The Associated Press reported that Mr. Greene was arrested in November and is facing a felony obscenity charge; he is accused of showing pornography to a University of South Carolina student. He had been discharged “involuntarily” from the Army and showed no signs of having waged an actual campaign in recent months — no advertising, no staff, no money.

Alvin Green looks like the typical socialist liberal democratic candidate. And like all socialist liberal democratic candidates, his major problem is in getting elected before getting caught. Let me see if I understand this.

The stock market is supposed to accurately reflect the state of the economy. But the federal government is working on rules and regulations that will allow an "unnatural" increase in stock prices, but will prevent an "unnatural" decrease in stock prices.

I am using the term "unnatural" in quotes, because the federal government is having problems. The problem is, every time the federal government talks about how wonderful the economy is doing and tries to point at some new measure they created to prove their point, even those numbers take a dive. It is reaching the point where only economists and government employees are capable of the "willing suspension of disbelief" required to believe any pronouncement from the federal government. And the government flunkies are getting tired of creating new metrics that are proved false even before the ink is dry. So, since reality won't cooperate with the federal government, the federal government will force reality to change it's ways. And since the government wants to claim that the rising stock prices proves the economy is recovering, they have to do something to prevent stock prices from falling.

After all, the federal government has no interest in fixing the economy. They just want the people to believe that the federal government cares. Which makes it easier for the politicians to get reelected and continue on with their conversion to socialism where you will have the freedom to spread the poverty with all the people who were forced out of their homes and their jobs.

In Washington these days, President Obama is rumored to be hoping Republicans capture the House of Representatives in the midterm election in November. There's no evidence for this speculation, so far as I know, but it's hardly far-fetched. If Mr. Obama wants to avert a fiscal crisis and win re-election in 2012, he needs House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be removed from her powerful post. A GOP takeover may be the only way.

It's too late to avert a fiscal crisis. Between the stimulus (welfare for the wealthy) and the Health Care Deform monstrosity, the United States has been dealt a one two punch in the economy that it may never recover from.

This opinion piece seems to think it is worth while to reelect Barack Hussein Obama as long as you don't allow Barack Hussein Obama to actually do anything. Are Meg Whitman and Steve Poizner trying to buy the election?

Of course they are trying to buy the election. In the grand tradition of corrupt politics, all politicians are used to buying their political office. Just ask former governor Rod Blagojevich about buying and selling political offices.

"Voters are electing people to represent themselves," he (Dave Levinthal with the Center for Responsive Politics in Washington D.C.) said. "Therefore, these candidates, no matter how much money they have, no matter how many movies they've made, still report to the people of California."

What a great sound bite. Spoken like a true politician. With not a word of truth in the whole statement.

A more honest statement would read that "fat cat politicians, with their million dollar slush funds, with their full pensions after one term in office, in their chauffeur driven cars report to the people of California, but they answer to the special interest groups that fund their campaigns". Is it possible that Meg Whitman or Steve Poizner will answer to the people? Sure it is. It is also possible that the sun won't rise in the east and that Barack Hussein Obama will finally tell the truth. It is just not very likely.

Even if you are willing to suspend your ability to think, and accept that Meg Whitman or Steve Poizner if elected will do what is best for California, you are forgetting one not so minor problem. All the rest of the politicians in Sacramento that are unwilling to balance the budget. Their time is better spent prohibiting teenage girls from getting nipple rings, deciding the price and kind of grocery bags available to shoppers (paper or plastic) or declaring war on Arizona.

Lest you think I am coming down too hard on California politicians, let me remind you of the Health Care Deform Bill recently passed in Washington District of Criminals (D.C.). When congress first tried to pass the bill, they had to bribe some of the politicians to vote for it. When the politicians realized that the senate would NOT pass the congressional bill, congress tried to pass the bill by pretending it had already passed and they were simply amending the bill. When that didn't work, and congress finally decided to accept the senat version of the Health Care Deform bill, the congressmen were assured that as a matter of public policy they could find out what the bill does by voting for the bill. Does this seem like politicians who are answering to their constituents? If so, why were so many democrats rushing to announce their retirement after the bill passed?

Pressure on intelligence agencies heightened after a passer-by spotted a bomb planted in a car near Times Square in Manhattan on May 1. The bomb failed to explode but the man suspected of planting it, Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistani immigrant, was allowed to board a flight to Dubai despite being on a no-fly list. He was removed from the plane and arrested.

This is surprising.

The alphabet soup of agencies who are supposed to protect American lives from "man-caused disasters" couldn't find the bomb in Times Square. The "man-caused disasters" expert was on the no-fly list, but managed to get on board a plane anyway. This is normally what Obamaspeak considers proof that the new improved security measures are working to protect the lives and property of American citizens.

Since business is never as stupid or corrupt as politicians, rolling tobacco is being relabeled as pipe tobacco. The federal government which so carefully writes these bills, and monitors their effect, never noticed the annual loss of $250 million of tax revenue. The state of Oregon, not being quite as incompetent and corrupt as the federal government did notice that the new federal law caused a major decrease in tax revenue.

Fortunately for the tobacco industry, federal politicians who are always willing to rush to pass poorly written laws, will never rush to fix poorly written laws.

Nothing. Politicians as a general rule never do any useful work when in office. So not showing up for work and getting paid anyway is hardly out of line for a politician. By not balancing the budget, the California legislators are insuring that government employees will go on strike to collect their wages. This will also help the California economy by forcing business that supply the state with goods and services to go bankrupt when they can't pay their bills because California won't pay it's bills.

California legislators plans to balance the budget are equally farsighted. They are planning on selling off public buildings as well as parks and recreational facilities to real estate developers. I am eagerly looking forward to the time when the all government offices are shut down and government employees evicted when the State of California can't make the rent payments.

Alternative plans to win the "Race To The Bottom" include innovative ways to deal with the overcrowding in prisons. By increasing arrests for misdemeanors, the overcrowding problem is made worse. The solution that California legislators have come up with is to provide early release for violent felons and not provide parole services for the early releases. Which is not as bad as you would think. After all, rapist kidnappers can easily harbor kidnap victims for 20 or more years while under supervision and not get noticed.

One plan that the California legislators are contemplating, is doubling or tripling the tax rates on any businesses that haven't yet failed and on legal citizens that haven't yet declared bankruptcy. Adding more people to the welfare and unemployment rolls is always good for a federal bailout. If increasing the taxes is not enough, making California a magnet state for unemployed and alien invaders is destined to overwhelm the welfare and unemployment rolls, thus forcing the federal government to give California an even larger bailout.

An of course the one plan that all legislators always approve of. Giving themselves raises.

As you can see, the California legislators have the not balancing the budget problem well in hand. So it makes sense that the California legislators move on to other important issues. Like ignoring the failing economy. But how will the California legislators deflect attention from their unwillingness to balance the budget and save the economy?

Thank god for this judicial ruling. This clears up so many misunderstandings. Previously I had thought that law enforcement agencies were supposed to prevent crime. Or if they can't prevent crime, at least capture the criminals who commit crimes.

The good news for soon-to-be ex-Rep. Mark Souder: There are no rules that expressly prohibit Members of Congress from sleeping with their staff.

The Assembly plan centers on raiding the state's recycling fund for the next 20 years and going to Wall Street for an $8.7-billion loan. The state would then levy a nearly 10% oil severance tax to help pay off the loan.

The California politicians think that they can borrow billions from Wall Street? Why would anyone buy any of the bonds that California would try to sell? The State of California is winning the national "Race to The Bottom (Bankruptcy)". The bond rating companies are downgrading the bond ratings of State of California bonds. Isn't anyone asking what is happening with the billions that the State of California has already borrowed and is unable to pay back? Isn't anyone asking why the State of California for a short time last year issued IOUs rather than checks?

The Senate Democrats' approach is more straightforward. It would plug roughly a quarter of the state's deficit with tax increases.

The 60% hike on alcohol taxes would bring in $210 million. The vehicle license fee would grow from 1.15% of a vehicle's value to 1.5%. A $220 cut in the dependent-care tax credit would be extended, raising $430 million. A surcharge of 0.25% on personal income taxes, set to expire at the end of 2010, would continue throughout 2011 to bring $1 billion into state coffers.

One thing politicians conveniently ignore, is that as the taxes rise for products, people are less willing to pay the price. Raise the tax on alcohol, and people will either drink less, or start more home brewing. Raise the vehicle license fee, and fewer people will buy vehicles. Raise income taxes to pay out more welfare, and more people will quit working to go on welfare. Or people will flee from California (like Mexicans are fleeing from Mexico) looking for some place that is not as oppressive and abusive.

A MODEST PROPOSAL:

Don't you just love the irrational politicians telling the ~~slaves~~ citizens what the ration thing to do.

Let me propose another rational plan to balance the budget. Take all the politicians serving in Sacramento, throw them all in prison for the rest of their lives. Tell all future politicians that as long as they pretend that the only solution to California's budget problems are higher taxes, then ~~slaves~~ citizens only response is to make the punishment fit the crime and throw them in prison for the rest of their lives. If we do this long enough, then eventually we will get politicians who will figure out an alternative to bankrupting all the individuals and businesses in California to solve the problem of California going bankrupt.

Under the terms of the proposal, Congress would have to look at the president's slate of suggested cuts as a package and, without making any amendments, give them an up-or-down vote within a specific period of time.

Stealth IRS changes mean millions of new tax forms

The massive expansion of requirements for businesses to file 1099 tax forms that was hidden in the 2,409-page health reform bill took many by surprise when it came to light last month.

Why is this a surprise to anyone? The only possible reason why the congress and the senate could have for rushing the passage of the monstrous 2409 page Health Care Deform Bill before any one had a chance to read and understand it, is because they didn't want anyone to find out how little the bill had to do with real reform, and how much was given over to outrageous theft of our freedom.

The Health Care Deform bill, which Barack Hussein Obama and the rest of the socialist ruling class untruthfully (you lie) proclaimed is so critical for the health care of the nation, is filled with many land mines which are designed to destroy the ability of businesses to make a profit. If these and other booby traps don't force more businesses to close, they will at least have the beneficial effect of forcing any existing business to raise their prices to pay for the added administrative burden and cost of preparing burdensome paperwork to be allowed to stay in business and provide employment for other citizens.

The 1099 changes attached to the health care reform bill are another kettle of fish. These massively expand the requirements for filing the "1099-Misc" form, which companies use for recording payments to freelance workers and other individual service providers. Until now, payments to corporations have been exempt from 1099 rules, as have payments for the purchase of goods.

Starting in 2012, that changes. All business payments or purchases that exceed $600 in a calendar year will need to be accompanied by a 1099 filing. That means obtaining the taxpayer ID number of the individual or corporation you're making the payment to -- even if it's a giant retailer like Staples or Best Buy -- at the time of the transaction, or else facing IRS penalties.

Some people might ask, what does filing hundreds of additional forms have do with Health Care Deform. The correct answer is, much like all the other provisions hidden in the Health Care Deform bill, nothing. Just part of the hidden government power grab that will require the government to hire thousands of additional Infernal Revenue Service (I.R.S.) agents to handle the hundreds / thousands / millions of additional forms that businesses will be required to file for the privilege of working to pay more of their hard earned money to the government.

How did this sweeping provision end up hidden in the health reform bill?

Easy. Since the entire legislative body was discouraged from reading and understanding the contents of the Health Care Deform bill, these and other riders were tacked onto a bill that couldn't fail, for a country that doesn't want to succeed. But the real question is, how many more tax increases and business killing provisions were buried in the Health Care Deform act. The governments answer, is pass the bill and find out. Unfortunately for the citizens of the United States, we are just beginning to find out how grievously the federal government has trampled the freedom and prosperity of the citizens of the United States.

Henschke's group had previously surveyed its members and learned that they average 10 filings a year of 1099 forms, each of which takes about half an hour to prepare. That's in line with the GAO report, which found that a typical small business spent between three and five hours per year filing 1099s.

But SMC's survey found that extending 1099s just to services purchased from corporations would push that number to at least 200 filings per year for a typical small business -- adding an estimated $6,000 to the cost of preparing the average tax return. And that's without even accounting for the requirement that 1099s be filed for purchases of goods, a provision that Henschke's group didn't see coming when it conducted its survey last year.

Let's try to put this into perspective. The federal government (low) estimates are that it takes 1/2 an hour to prepare 1 1099. The average small business will go from preparing 10 1099s, taking about 5 hours to prepare, to preparing 200 1099s taking about 100 hours to prepare. At 40 hours per week, that means that 2 1/2 weeks per year will be spent preparing paperwork. This is just for the 1099s. All the hours and days to prepare and file other government required paperwork is still required.

But I think I am beginning to see what the government has in mind. And the real solution the government is looking for. Some day, in the not so distant future, all businesses will be shut down, and the former owners will be required to spend all the rest of their days filling out paperwork explaining why they were in business, why they closed the business, why they hired people to work, ... why they should be allowed to continue to live and pollute the planet with their carbon dioxide pollution from their breathing. Everybody else will be a government employee, armed and dangerous, going door to door, shutting down all businesses. Jobless Claims Increase

In a troubling sign for the U.S. labor market, the number of workers filing new claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly surged last week to wipe out most of the recent declines.

No need to worry. If a Muslim terrorist sneaking a bomb on board an airplane is proof that our increased security is working, then the growing number of unemployed people is proof that the economy is recovering.

The Labor Department said in its weekly report Thursday that initial claims for jobless benefits rose by 25,000 to 471,000 in the week ended May 15. Economists who were surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires had predicted claims would fall by 4,000.

All economists that ever hope to get a government job, or a government grant, are unable to predict anything other than an improving economy. So it should come as no surprise that the economists are shocked that unemployment is on the rise.

The previous week's level was revised upward as well, to 446,000 from 444,000.

It should also come as no surprise that the government is continually revising prior positive growth figures to more accurately reflect the negative dying economy.

Total claims lasting more than one week, meanwhile, fell.

Of course the government has to try to lie about something to prove the economy is improving. But proclaiming that the increasing number of people on long term unemployment is decreasing, without mentioning that the decrease is because the decreasing numbers are from people who's unemployment benefits have run out is government dishonesty at it's best.

Only four of the 10 leading indicators increased in April. The most positive indicators were the interest rate spread and stock prices.

However the price of stock has absolutely nothing to do with the economy. For those who have forgotten the recent sub prime mortgage disaster, that was a case of people paying inflated prices on worthless paper. And since interest rates are set by the Federal Reserve Bank, they again have nothing to with the economy at all.

Which means that two of the 10 leading indicators still show an improved economy. Which means that only 80% of the indicators show a dying economy.

As part of their balance the budget, California is setting free violent felons to terrorize the citizens into paying higher taxes. The unemployment rate is higher than 10%. If you count the underemployed and the unemployed so long they no longer look for work or no longer get unemployment benefits, the unemployment rate is higher than 20%.

So in an effort to get young students to stop missing school, single parents will be fined $2,000 that they don't have. How you may ask, will this help young students to stop missing school?

Placing a large fine on someone who already is having problems paying their monthly bills will help convince the parent to stop working and go on government assistance. If you have no job, then you have no money for the government to steal with their higher fines, fees, taxes, ... This is part of the government's plan to make everyone a criminal, and thus to assess fines, fees, taxes to help balance the budget.

So in an effort to get young students to stop missing school, single parents will be throw in prison. How you may ask, will this help young students to stop missing school?

While the parent has been rotting in prison for a year, the child or children have been placed in foster care. Children in the foster care system have a higher than average death rate then children outside the foster care system. So it is possible that if more children die, the statistics for absenteeism will be lower because of the fewer number of children still alive to attend school.

If the child or children are not killed by the foster care system, then at the very least they will have been traumatized so much that they are more likely to become criminals. And thus the overburdened state, will have even more crime to deal with then they are currently willing to deal with.

What do you think will happen when the parent, in a single parent home is thrown in prison for a year?

After rotting in prison for a year, the parent is likely to be unemployed, and because of the "great depression" unemployable. So they will now go on welfare or some other assistance program paid for by the dwindling number of employed people.

Does the City Council of Los Angeles want federal law enforcement officials on every street corner enforcing the federal alien invasion laws? Or does the City Council of Los Angeles want any well armed and well stocked invading army to have the right to cross the United States borders and occupy whatever land they want?

During a morning-long debate on the resolution, council members compared Arizona's action to those of Nazi Germany and the beginning of the Holocaust, as well as the internment and deportation of Japanese Americans during World War II.

It is a good thing that most of the City Council are stupid, barely literate graduates of the public education system, or they would be unable to mischaracterize the Arizona anti-alien invasion laws. Still, a national opinion poll released Wednesday found that most Americans support Arizona's crackdown. The Pew Research Center for the People and the Press found that 59% of adults surveyed gave their overall approval to the Arizona law.

California's attorney general is suing two former officials from Calpers, the nation's largest public pension fund, alleging that they took kickbacks in exchange for a piece of the fund's lucrative investment portfolio.

Why is the State of California upset that the managers of a public pension fund were working towards their retirement plan?

These two men were simply doing what they were paid to do. Planning their retirement. If Arizona is allowed to get away with enforcing federal alien invaders laws, other states may follow suit by passing similar laws. If enough states decide to start enforcing federal alien invader laws, then the illegal alien vote won't be available to help Barack Hussein Obama get reelected in 2012. Barack Hussein Obama needs the illegal alien vote because of the number of voters he is losing because of the massive fraud used to pass the stimulus / bailout (welfare for the wealthy) and the takeover of the health care industry (health care deform) while allowing the economy of the United States to crumble into ruins.
