Gates: 2-4 years of big Afghan role for US troops

Defense Secretary Robert Gates says Americans should expect a significant U.S. military presence in Afghanistan for two years to four years more.

The American Military leaders said they needed 60,000 troops to fully protect troops in Afghanistan. Barack Hussein Obama is unwilling to send in more that half of what is needed. And the troops won't be fully deployed until summer 2010. Now it is announced that the troops won't all be pulled out in July 2011. But that will only be the starting date for withdrawals. So if American troops are undermanned for two to four years after that, we can expect a lot more deaths of American troops.
