One of the things you can do is tell the farmers NOT to grow food. There are not enough of them to notice their complains. Who needs food?
One of the things you can't do, is tell the people they can't drink water. There are too many of them to complain.
Maybe you can turn the farmland into residential housing. That usually solves most political problems. Or at least provides needed bribe money for the family vacation the politicians always wanted.

Barack Hussein Obama's economic policy is working. By destroying the economy of the United States, he is reducing the demand for oil. By reducing the demand for oil, the price of oil is falling. Because of the reduced demand for oil, the United States is less dependent on foreign oil. Therefore Barack Hussein Obama is meeting the goals of his communist and green supporters for energy independence.

The Democrats are wondering if they lose the election in Massachusetts does that mean that they have somehow missed what the majority of Americans want?
The Democrats have concluded that it can't mean that, because the Democrats are currently representing the interests of the people and have always represented the interests of the people (at least the people who bribe them). So the Democrats will continue to give the American people what the Obamunists want to give the people. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More homelessness. You know, hope and change.
In spite of claiming they are doing what the American people want, the Democrats are trying to pretend they are not baffled about what the American people want.
So.
Democrat Nancy Pelosi said Democrats will continue to pound "Main Street" issues, like bailouts for Wall Street Wizards (with no congressional oversight), bribing politicians and unions to support Health Care Deform, junkets to foreign cities for relatives and friends, ... Democrat Nancy Pelosi said Democrats will continue to lie about what Republicans stand for and what Republicans support.
So the Democrats will continue to vote for increased taxes for anyone who still has a job, and increased taxes for anyone who doesn't have health insurance, and raises for themselves for doing such a good job of understanding what the people want.
Who could ask for anything more?

The federal government pretends that cigarette smoking does NOT cause cancer (because they tax it heavily). The federal government pretends that abusers of alcohol do NOT get addicted (because they tax it heavily). The federal government pretends that marijuana is a dangerous drug (because they don't make any money off it).
The government claims their proof of their asinine conclusion that marijuana is dangerous is that no one has ever done a study to prove otherwise. The government has tried to make it illegal for anyone to prove otherwise. Thus keeping their conclusion uncontested.
If you happen to ask yourself why the government keeps marijuana illegal, I can think of a number of reasons.
It could be because the government likes to see people suffer.
It could be because if marijuana were legal, the people could grow their own, and the government would be unable to tax it.
It could be because the government is abusive of peoples rights and freedoms and this gives them yet another excuse for yet another agency with paramilitary weapons and excessive powers to confiscate property and arrest anyone they want to. Guilty until proven innocent.

Barney Frank, claims that congress had to bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac or the economy would crumble, the sky would fall and the earth would stop rotating. The government seized control of both companies because of their financial difficulties. Barney Frank, claims that congress is unable to prevent the C.E.O.s of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from taking millions of dollars in salary and bonuses for reckless behavior which would have caused bankruptcy if the congress hadn't bailed them out.
I guess it is too bad that our government doesn't have an organization that can investigate crimes. I guess it is too bad that the people who helped cause the current economic crisis got bonuses instead of jail time. I guess it is too bad we don't have a pay czar appointed by Barack Hussein Obama to prevent C.E.O.s from getting outrageous bonuses for looting companies designed to help the average American homeowner.

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) want to screen very young children for obesity. But they want women to wait an additional 10 years before starting to screen for breast cancer.
Is this part of the Health Care Deform bill oozing it's way through the bowels of the congress? It might be. The government claims the Health Care Deform bill will help save money. They might be right. I think it is less expensive to treat children over 2 years old for obesity than it would be to treat women for breast cancer. It is more expensive to care for cancer patients than young obese patients.
Let's hear it for the government savings from the Health Care Deform bill.

If you are running Internet Explorer on any security level except high, you may have attacked google.com. Microsoft says you don't need to worry. If you are running an older version of their browser, just set the security to high. You don't need to worry that this mostly makes your browser non-functional, you didn't want to go to any website not owned by Microsoft anyway. If you want your browser to be functional, just upgrade to the newest version of Internet Explorer. If your system doesn't support the newest version of Internet Explorer, just buy a new computer with a more modern version of Windows that will support a more modern version of Internet Explorer.
