HILLIARD, Ohio — A woman who challenged a city order to change or remove a sunflower mural she painted on her garage lost an appeal with a zoning appeals board.

The city zoning board in Hilliard, Ohio ruled that a local woman has the freedom to paint the inside of her house however she wants to. It also ruled that she has the freedom to paint the outside of the house anything she wants to, as long as it uses no more than two colors, and that she begs permission from the zoning board for a variance. The woman who had painted a mural on the outside of her home without the permission of the zoning board, now has the permission of the zoning board to paint over the mural according to their local regulations (or face criminal charges).

What more freedom could she want?

Why is everybody getting upset about the self-imposed censorship by Comedy Central upon receiving a death threat from the Muslim majority? It is NOT the government trying to suppress free speech!

Let's look at this from a modern constitutional scholars' viewpoint.

First off, you need to remember that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were written by slave owners hundreds of years ago. This means that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are ancient documents that don't apply to modern society. Therefore we should be free to misinterpret the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in any way that is favorable to the current Muslim regime.

Another thing you need to keep in mind. The first amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the first amendment in the Bill of Rights, ONLY says that "congress" will make no law preventing free speech. It says nothing about protecting people who wish to speak. It says nothing about preventing foreign or domestic threats to free speech. If just says that congress will make no law.

Therefore, this means that any Muslim that wants to, can send out death threats without infringing on the Constitution or the Bill of Rights.

After all, the Muslim issuing death threats is only using his freedom of religion. He is only trying to present this country the one true way to worship and live. He is only trying to help convert this country from the heathen godless country it currently is into an Allah worshiping third world totalitarian dictatorship that the federal government wants and is in the process of implementing.

In town for a conference, a director of Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty is detained by TSA at the St. Louis airport because when asked to explain why he's carrying $4,700 in cash (it was proceeds from book and ticket sales at the conference), he asks the agents to tell him what law requires him to do so. He managed to surreptitiously record his conversations with TSA officers on a cell phone. The audio is infuriating.

The director of Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty should have known better. He should know by now how the government works. He should have known that it is illegal to have any wealth. He should have known that all wealth must be distributed to the millions of currently unemployed and the millions more who will shortly become unemployed. Anyone who clicked on the yahoo.com front page headline link of this story wanting to find out more about an increasing number of extremist militia groups would be greatly disappointed to find out that is NOT what this article is about. This actual article is simply the profile of one extremist militia group.

The fact that the headline doesn't really have much to do with the news article should not be surprising.

The far-right extremists have gone into conniptions.

And the far-left extremists are now celebrating the destruction of the United States of America as a home of equality and freedom.

It’s an extension of a now-familiar theme: some version of “take our country back.” The problem is that the country romanticized by the far right hasn’t existed for some time, and its ability to deny that fact grows more dim every day. President Obama and what he represents has jolted extremists into the present and forced them to confront the future. And it scares them.

I agree with the opinion piece by the far-left extremist Charles Blowhard.

We should not be scared by the changes for the worse that have taken place in the past, and the changes for the worse that are happening before our very eyes. We should not be scared of the economic and the political slavery that is being perpetrated on this country by an elite group of left wing extremists. We should not be scared where this will lead in the future.

We haven't had (economic or political) freedom in this country for a long time. It is about time that we admit it and move on. As part of the process of moving on, we need to dump the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These are outdated documents (written by white slave owners-and therefore not to be trusted) that only serve to inflame the anger of people that remember what freedom means and want freedom for themselves and their progeny.

Thanks to the most recent bill passage in Washington District of Criminals (D.C.) we now have the right to inadequate medical insurance, inadequate medical care, inadequate housing, inadequate education and inadequate welfare. We no longer have the right to work hard to better ourselves. If we do choose to work harder, it is with the understanding that we have the right to pay for the inadequate medical insurance, inadequate medical care, inadequate housing, inadequate education and inadequate welfare for those that choose not to work at all.

We no longer have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. With the fraud of "Global Warming" and the fraud of carbon dioxide being a greenhouse gas, it shouldn't be long before we need a permit to exhale carbon dioxide. Without the right to breathe, no other rights can exist.

Even the optics must be irritating. A woman (Nancy Pelosi) pushed the health care bill through the House. The bill’s most visible and vocal proponents included a gay man (Barney Frank) and a Jew (Anthony Weiner). And the black man in the White House signed the bill into law. It’s enough to make a good old boy go crazy.

All left wing extremists are racists and haters, so they must blame the opposition for their own prejudices. But Adolf Hitler had it right, when you tell the big lie long enough and loud enough, people get tired of fighting against it. So of course the left wing extremists need to keep accusing the opposition of all the worst thoughts the left wing extremists have and the worst actions that the left wing extremists are doing. That only makes the baseless accusations seem more believable.

Politically, this frustration is epitomized by the Tea Party movement. It may have some legitimate concerns (taxation, the role of government, etc.), but its message is lost in the madness.

The reason the left wing extremists have bothered to mention that the Tea Party has any legitimate concerns is that the left wing extremists smear campaign hasn't completely managed to overwhelm the message. But give the left wing extremists time and the Tea Party will become the punch line of jokes rather than a movement to restore economic and political freedom to the people. The left wing extremists are working as hard as they can, and as fast as they can to mock anyone who is not a left wing extremist.

A Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday took a look at the Tea Party members and found them to be just as anachronistic to the direction of the country’s demographics as the Republican Party. For instance, they were disproportionately white, evangelical Christian and “less educated ... than the average Joe and Jane Six-Pack.”

It is unfortunate that the republicans are less educated than the left wing extremists. It makes it that much more difficult to brainwash them into believing the patently absurd things that the left wing extremists so easily fall for.

McCain bill threatens access to vitamins and supplements

Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) has introduced a new bill called The Dietary Supplement Safety Act (DSSA) of 2010 (S. 3002), that, if enacted, would severely curtail free access to dietary supplements. Cosponsored by Senator Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the bill would essentially give the FDA full control over the supplement industry.

Evidently there are still parts of the economy that are not run by the government. A bipartisan committee (democrat and republican) wants to change that oversight. The section of the economy they want to destroy via government regulation, is the food supplement (vitamins) industry. They want the FDA to oversee and regulate the manufacture and sale of vitamins.

Maybe they figure that the Health Care Deform bill is failing because it tries to take over too much all at once and the public and see it as the naked grab for power that it really is. So some senators seem to think that a smaller, more piecemeal approach will work better. So some senators think that rather than killing the economy all at once with the Health Care Deform bill (a knife to the heart) they will kill it slowly with regulation (the death of 1,000 cuts).
