For the third time this year, Congress is scrambling to stave off a hefty pay cut to doctors treating Medicare patients — even as the Obama administration mails out a glossy brochure to reassure seniors the health care program is on solid ground.

The 21.3 percent cut will take effect June 1 unless Congress intervenes in the next few days. Recurring uncertainty over Medicare fees is making doctors take a hard look at their participation in a program considered a bedrock of middle-class retirement security.

Do I understand this correctly?

The 2400 page Health Care Deform bill that was so critical for reforming the medical industry will be causing doctors to be paid so little, that the doctors can no longer afford to care for patients on medicare and medical? Stealth IRS changes mean millions of new tax forms

The massive expansion of requirements for businesses to file 1099 tax forms that was hidden in the 2,409-page health reform bill took many by surprise when it came to light last month.

Why is this a surprise to anyone? The only possible reason why the congress and the senate could have for rushing the passage of the monstrous 2409 page Health Care Deform Bill before any one had a chance to read and understand it, is because they didn't want anyone to find out how little the bill had to do with real reform, and how much was given over to outrageous theft of our freedom.

The Health Care Deform bill, which Barack Hussein Obama and the rest of the socialist ruling class untruthfully (you lie) proclaimed is so critical for the health care of the nation, is filled with many land mines which are designed to destroy the ability of businesses to make a profit. If these and other booby traps don't force more businesses to close, they will at least have the beneficial effect of forcing any existing business to raise their prices to pay for the added administrative burden and cost of preparing burdensome paperwork to be allowed to stay in business and provide employment for other citizens.

The 1099 changes attached to the health care reform bill are another kettle of fish. These massively expand the requirements for filing the "1099-Misc" form, which companies use for recording payments to freelance workers and other individual service providers. Until now, payments to corporations have been exempt from 1099 rules, as have payments for the purchase of goods.

Starting in 2012, that changes. All business payments or purchases that exceed $600 in a calendar year will need to be accompanied by a 1099 filing. That means obtaining the taxpayer ID number of the individual or corporation you're making the payment to -- even if it's a giant retailer like Staples or Best Buy -- at the time of the transaction, or else facing IRS penalties.

Some people might ask, what does filing hundreds of additional forms have do with Health Care Deform. The correct answer is, much like all the other provisions hidden in the Health Care Deform bill, nothing. Just part of the hidden government power grab that will require the government to hire thousands of additional Infernal Revenue Service (I.R.S.) agents to handle the hundreds / thousands / millions of additional forms that businesses will be required to file for the privilege of working to pay more of their hard earned money to the government.

How did this sweeping provision end up hidden in the health reform bill?

Easy. Since the entire legislative body was discouraged from reading and understanding the contents of the Health Care Deform bill, these and other riders were tacked onto a bill that couldn't fail, for a country that doesn't want to succeed. But the real question is, how many more tax increases and business killing provisions were buried in the Health Care Deform act. The governments answer, is pass the bill and find out. Unfortunately for the citizens of the United States, we are just beginning to find out how grievously the federal government has trampled the freedom and prosperity of the citizens of the United States.

Henschke's group had previously surveyed its members and learned that they average 10 filings a year of 1099 forms, each of which takes about half an hour to prepare. That's in line with the GAO report, which found that a typical small business spent between three and five hours per year filing 1099s.

But SMC's survey found that extending 1099s just to services purchased from corporations would push that number to at least 200 filings per year for a typical small business -- adding an estimated $6,000 to the cost of preparing the average tax return. And that's without even accounting for the requirement that 1099s be filed for purchases of goods, a provision that Henschke's group didn't see coming when it conducted its survey last year.

Let's try to put this into perspective. The federal government (low) estimates are that it takes 1/2 an hour to prepare 1 1099. The average small business will go from preparing 10 1099s, taking about 5 hours to prepare, to preparing 200 1099s taking about 100 hours to prepare. At 40 hours per week, that means that 2 1/2 weeks per year will be spent preparing paperwork. This is just for the 1099s. All the hours and days to prepare and file other government required paperwork is still required.

But I think I am beginning to see what the government has in mind. And the real solution the government is looking for. Some day, in the not so distant future, all businesses will be shut down, and the former owners will be required to spend all the rest of their days filling out paperwork explaining why they were in business, why they closed the business, why they hired people to work, ... why they should be allowed to continue to live and pollute the planet with their carbon dioxide pollution from their breathing. Everybody else will be a government employee, armed and dangerous, going door to door, shutting down all businesses. After all, how dare any business sully the pristine workers paradise that Barack Hussein Obama and the rest of the socialist ruling class is creating for all the rest of us.

Under the new national healthcare law, uninsured Americans with preexisting conditions should soon be able to buy insurance. Critics warn the program could run out of money.

Of course the program will run out of money. Whether it runs out of money in the first day or the first week or first month doesn't make much difference. The program will run out of money. Everybody except a tree stump or a politician should be able to understand this. Let me try to explain it in a way that everyone (and maybe even a politician) can understand.

The new Health Care Deform plan says that people with preexisting conditions can not be denied health insurance. So lets say that an individual who has medical bills totaling $100,000 can buy insurance for $1,000 per month. At the end of the first year, the patient has paid $12,000 for his insurance. The insurance company has paid $100,000 in medical bills. That leaves the insurance company paying out $88,000 more than it collects.

What happens to you when you spend more than you have?

The end result, no money to pay medical profession, medical profession goes bankrupt and closes, thus no health care for anyone. The socialist dream, everyone has the same health care (none).

Is this the only possible solution to the spiraling costs of health care?

No. It is the only result that government is capable of implementing.

The government can try to make up the difference. But where is the extra money going to come from? If you are the federal government, you have a few different choices. Your first choice is to steal (tax) from the slaves citizens. Other alternatives include, you simply print more money (counterfeiting) and hope that nobody notices that you are destroying the economy (inflation) by doing this. You can also issue bonds (if anyone is willing to buy them) and pretend that some time in the future you will be able to pay back the bonds. But if you are the government, your favorite choice is always stealing (taxing) from the slaves citizens.

The end result is that the government takes from the many to pay for the few. If you know that you are not allowed to keep what you work for, and you know that if you don't work at all you needs will be met by the government, then why would you work? This includes people deciding that it is not worth the effort to become health are professionals. Which means too many people wanting services that too few people are able to provide. This is why socialism always ends up being share the poverty rather than share the wealth. Which in the long run ends up being the socialist dream, everyone has the same health care (none).

One of the things the government can do is take over the insurance companies. The government can then issue orders on what it will pay for particular procedures. Since that doesn't actually affect the cost of the procedures, the government forces the health care industry to accept less money than it costs to perform the medical procedures.

Going into the midterm elections, Democrats argue that their health care reform bill will insure millions more Americans, help small businesses and reduce the deficit. Republicans argue the opposite: It will kill jobs, choke the economy and lead to a government takeover of health care.

There is no way that private enterprise can compete with the government. Private enterprise must run at a profit or go out of business. The government never spends less than it collects. And whenever the government notices it is running low on money, it either prints more (counterfeits) or it raises taxes. So when the government regulates what private businesses can pay their workers, and what private businesses can pay for supplies and what private businesses can charge for their services, the government has taken over health care.

How do you define jobs? Are jobs created by private enterprise and used to create products that consumers want? Or are jobs government giveaways paid for by taxes and provide services that most people wouldn't want at any price?

How do you define the economy? Is it private businesses that sell a product or service to other individuals or businesses? Or is it a government service paid for by all people (taxes) but only used by some people?

One last thing to keep in mind.

If we had an honest money supply (we don't) and an honest government (we don't), there would be a limited supply of money. And any money that the government uses to pay for their minions and henchmen to enforce their rules and regulations is money that is forcibly taken (taxes) from the slaves citizens and thus not available for private businesses.

Obama makes final case on Capitol Hill; Democrats ditch 'deem and pass'

It is lying time again at the Red White House.

Actually, as long as Barack Hussein Obama is liar-in-chief, it will always be lying time at the Red White House. All the anecdotal stories that Barack Hussein Obama uses in his speeches (which he claims to have heard all across the country) are all lies made up for him by his maximum wage sycophants and bear as much relation to the truth as the "Student Loan Overhaul" does to health care. Which was probably why the "Student Loan Overhaul" was unnaturally jammed into the Health Care Deform bill.

Obama's speech came just hours after Democratic leaders decided to abandon the controversial legislative mechanism know as "deem and pass" to avoid a direct vote on the health care legislation.

Evidently, even as evil and stupid as the typical bribe taking democratic politicians are, they managed to figure out that if they subvert the constitution of the United States to get around having to vote for the Health Care Deform Bill, they would likely face a backlash that they might not like.

"We have been debating health care for decades," Obama said. "It has now been debated for a year. It is in your hands. It is time to pass health care for Americans and I am confident that you are going to do it tomorrow."

Too bad there is no health care bill to vote on.

There is only the Health Care Deform bill. The Health Care Deform bill will cause massive increase in taxes. The Health Care Deform bill won't provide any benefits to the uninsured until years after Barack Hussein Obama is thrown out of office. The Health Care Deform bill will cause all the insurance companies to stop issuing new health insurance policies. The Health Care Deform bill cause doctors to stop accepting clients that can't actually pay for their health care (the doctors will stop accepting health insurance clients). And if the insurance companies are actually held to the terms of the Health Care Deform bill, this will cause all the insurance companies to face bankruptcy. Which will force the federal company to become the only health insurance company in the United States.

One undecided congressman said Friday that he refused to answer a phone call from the White House until he finalized his voting decision.

That makes sense. Based on the size of the bribes the that were handed out to vote for this obamanation last time, all the congressmen who haven't decided which way to vote, are busy contemplating how much of a bribe they will require to act against their better judgement, to act against their constituents and to act against the will of the American people.

"Not only does it reduce the deficit, we pay for it responsibly in ways that the other side of the aisle -- that talks about fiscal responsibility but doesn't seem to be able to walk the walk -- can't claim when it comes to their prescription drug bill," Obama said Saturday in a jab at Republicans.

Not only does it turn my stomach to read and hear the lies that Barack Hussein Obama has been spouting about the Health Care Deform bill, for a while it looked like Barack Hussein Obama had managed to convince most of the democratic congressmen to subvert the constitution and pretend they had passed the health care bill as part of the pork barrel products they wanted to include in this bill that the senate didn't want to include.

I am amazed that the mass media lets Barack Hussein Obama get away claiming that the Health Care Deform bill is fiscally responsible. What do you call a bill that raises taxes now, but benefits won't start for years (if ever)? Would you call it a balanced budget bill that claims it will spend trillions covering expenses for health care (and a whole new bureaucracy), but will only raise billions from the new taxes it imposes? What do you call a bill that claims to reign in the cost of insurance, but does nothing to prevent the rise of cost of medical care? Fraud is the nicest word that comes to mind.

"We are making sure that the system of private insurance works for ordinary families," he (Obama) said, calling the legislation a "patient's bill of rights on steroids" and "the toughest insurance reform in history."

Calling the Health Card Deform bill insurance reform is FRAUD on a grand scale.

Do you know why insurance rates are going up? Insurance rates are going up because the cost of medical care is going up. Every time any doctor is sued for malpractice and loses, the insurance rates of all the doctors raises. Every time the government steps into the health care industry with more regulation, the cost of medical care skyrockets. Any time the government pays for the actual health care (medical, medicare, ...), the time and cost to prepare the paperwork for reimbursement, and the delay in collecting whatever small pittance the government believes is appropriate, cost the doctor money.

It doesn't take a 2,000 or 3,000 page bill to reform the industry. It does take that (and more) for the government to take over the health care industry.

Frustration over health care grips California

A report released this week by the UCLA Center for Health
Advertisement Policy Research found that the state's uninsured population jumped to 8.2 million last year from 6.4 million in 2007. The jump was driven mainly by Californians who lost employer-sponsored health insurance.

I wonder where all those uninsured came from?

Could the millions of new uninsured be the millions of new unemployed who can't afford insurance any more?

Could any of these millions of uninsured be any of the unemployed who came to the sanctuary state for the free welfare, free education, free health care, ...?

Will these numbers climb to include the millions more new unemployed because of the anti-business, anti-people, pro-environment policies enacted by the state of California and the federal government?
