U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner spewed forth words trying to back up a position that got him laughed at when he said the same thing in China.

I guess it is unfortunate for the current administration when people pay attention to what the administration is doing, rather than just accepting whatever they claim they are doing.
