Late-night protest at UC Berkeley turns violent
A late-night demonstration over budget cuts turned violent in Berkeley when protesters broke into a campus building, torched trash cans, smashed windows and threw rocks and bottles at police, authorities said Friday.

Students staged a protest over the proposed education funding cuts. And like all good students, they decided to show the world what they have been learning in school. So as part of their protest, the demonstrators destroyed public and private property. Thy also attacked the law enforcement officials who were trying to stop the destruction of public and private property.

I am sure their teachers will be proud of them for showing contempt for the country they live in.

Best of all, the property they destroyed will have to be replaced at University expense, so there will be even less money available to fund education. Great way to show what you learned in Economics class!!

Of course that is right in line with what gov't policy is teaching us today: If you destroy small business, there will be more money for jobs, right??
