The politicians of the State of California once again get a chance to show off their ignorance and stupidity.
The politicians of the State of California are facing a long term budget crisis. The politicians are trying to spend more money than they have. If the politicians can't acquire the money through outrageous tax hikes, and outrageous usage fees for services, then they will sell off any / all assets the State of California owns. Which is a perfect short term solution to a long term problem. Unless the crooked and dishonorable politicians have something even sleazier up their proverbial sleeves then the State of California will eventually run out of assets to sell.
Can you imagine a private person or business buying the state capital, and then trying to evict the state legislature when it fails to pay rent?
