This is an interesting headline, considering that the greatest threat to democracy these days is Barack Hussein Obama. With his socialist agenda, and his socialist advisers and appointees, we will soon have more socialists in our government than Russia ever had in it's government.

"With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations -- none of which I know how to work -- information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation," Obama said at Hampton University in Virginia.

Barack Hussein Obama sounds exactly like his economic advisers, who all claim, I don't understand enough about economics to see a problem until after it is reported in the mass media, but I know enough about economics to fix the problem once it is here.

Obama also lamented the spread of social media and blogs through which "some of the craziest claims can quickly claim traction."

Yea.

One of the craziest claims I have heard is that Barack Hussein Obama is a native born American citizen and thus eligible to be president of the United States. Another outrageous claim is that the Health Care Deform Bill will not bankrupt the United States and that it will balance the budget. Another outrageous claim is that the stimulus / bailout (welfare for the wealthy) prevented the economic disaster that this country is in the middle of. In fact, every time Barack Hussein Obama opens his mouth I hear another outrageous claim that the mass media so loves to promote.

Fortunately, some of the smaller media organizations don't mind digging up the truth and making it available to the public. Unfortunately, what Barack Hussein Obama considers a crazy claim, is what most of the country understands is the truth.

"We can't stop these changes," Obama said, "but we can adapt to them. And education is what can allow us to do so. It can fortify you, as it did earlier generations, to meet the tests of your own time."

Really? I don't see how education help Barack Hussein Obama. Barack Hussein Obama managed to graduate from school without understanding what democracy is and how it works. Barack Hussein Obama managed to graduate from school without understanding what capitalism is and how it works. Barack Hussein Obama managed to graduate from school without understanding what socialism is and why it doesn't work.

"With so many voices clamoring for attention on blogs, on cable, on talk radio, it can be difficult, at times, to sift through it all; to know what to believe; to figure out who's telling the truth and who's not," Obama said.

The easy answer, is that every time Barack Hussein Obama opens his mouth, he lies.

Of course Barack Hussein Obama is very concerned about what the media says. Fortunately for Barack Hussein Obama, the mass media is as deluded as Barack Hussein Obama is, in believing that converting the United States from a capitalist to a socialist economy will save the country. I am beginning to understand why Barack Hussein Obama loves giving speeches at schools. There is no one there who will contradict his lies. A large percentage of the audience has just been finished being brainwashed by the government into believing the latest politically correct socialist propaganda. So they are more likely to be easily swayed by lie spouting demagogues with their agenda of "hype and confusion" that Barack Hussein Obama so loves to preach.
