Study of the effects on employment of public aid to renewable energy sources

Spain’s green jobs boondoggle
For those of you that have no trouble believing in "Global Warming", here is another fraud / hoax for you to believe in.
"Green" technology creates jobs.
Yes. When the government taxes the productive citizens, and subsidizes the green energy producers, that does create jobs. Something the "Greens" like to brag about. What the "Greens" don't like to tell you, is what happens to a country that tries to implement "Green" technology.
Spain fell for this fraud, and tried converting to "Green" energy sources. It didn't work as advertised. In fact, it had the opposite effect on their economy. When they realized what was happening, they studied the effects of switching to "Green" energy sources.
When Spain converted to "Green" energy sources, they found that for every "Green" job that was created, two non-"Green" jobs were eliminated. The cost of creating each green job was approximately $750,000 per person. Out of every ten "Green" jobs that were created, only one was permanent. The other nine were all temporary. The cost of the energy produced by the "Green" technology was so expensive, that many businesses that could afford to, moved out of the country.
Now when someone asks you if you believe in "Global Warming" and "Green Energy" saves jobs, you should add that you also believe in Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, unicorns, and U.F.O.s.
In that way, you can tell them that you believe in more irrational unbelievable things than thy do.

Perfect timing... forwarded to State Assemblyman Pete Knight, who is a pretty reasonable guy as politicans go. The numbers are very telling, and worse than even I expected (even allowing for the much greater waste in an essentially socialist country).
ReplyDeleteBTw for a while my sister's office assistant was the niece of the King of Spain, who believed that royalty should go out and get their hands dirty in real jobs, so they had a clue about real life. Unfortunately the king has very little control over what stupidity the country does (as the Queen of England demonstrates... 95% of the socialist nonsense they've fallen into wouldn't have happened if she were actually in control; she's actually a fairly practical woman).
Democracy: the art of letting the mob express itself, so they'll think their vote actually means something.
Feudalism is at least honest.
