3 world powers criticize Iranian enrichment
Because enrichment can produce both nuclear weapons as well as reactor fuel, Iran is under three set of U.N. Security Council sanctions for refusing to stop its program. Its determination to expand such activities had been criticized worldwide even before an announcement earlier this month that Tehran would enrich to a higher level.
The United Nations is a sham organization, with no power to do anything to any country that disagrees with them. Witness the sanctions levied against North Korea. Witness North Korea ignoring the sanctions. Witness the three sets of sanctions already leveled against Iran. Witness Iran proceeding with their announcements and their continued work towards developing their nuclear bomb program.
I imagine that the United Nations will be issuing sanctions against Iran and North Korea as they send rockets carrying nuclear bombs at their real (or imagined) enemies.
Don't you feel more secure knowing that the United Nations will be very sorry (but do nothing) if some rogue nations fires rockets carrying nuclear bombs towards the United States?
