Garrido acted 'strange,' parole documents state
Phillip Craig Garrido kidnapped and raped Jaycee Dugard, an 11 year old girl, for 18 years. Jaycee Dugard had 2 children during the 18 years she was raped and held prisoner. Jaycee Dugard with her 2 daughters lived in a tent in the backyard for 18 years.
During this 18 year time period Phillip Craig Garrido, a sex offender with a previous rape conviction, was under first federal and then state parole supervision. The parole supervisors recommended that parole supervision stop as the parole agents didn't see anything wrong, and thought it was a waste of their time to keep an eye on Phillip Craig Garrido.
The parole agents were correct. It was a waste of time for them to keep an eye on this ex-felon. However, it was not because the felon had returned to the straight and narrow. It was because either the parole agents were incompetent, or the parole system doesn't work.
According to recent press releases from federal officials, the early release for non-violent felons (who attack others within 12 hours of release) and parole agents who supervise felons (who kidnap and hold prisoners for decades), this is proof that the justice system works.
Some people have suggested that the quality of health will be comparable to the U.S. Post Awful. I recently suggested the quality of health will be comparable to the Infernal Revenue Service. I am now starting to think that once the government takes over the health care system, the quality of health care will be comparable to the quality of our justice / parole system. With this level of care and concern, the government won't even need the death squads (you have a right to give up your health care and choose death).
