Obama Challenges Terrorism Critics
“The most important thing for the public to understand is we’re not handling any of these (terrorist) cases any different than the Bush administration handled them all through 9/11,” Mr. Obama told CBS News on Sunday.
It does get difficult trying to follow the logic of Barack Hussein Obama. Most of the time he seems to be campaigning (sorry, I mean running this country into the ground) on the blame Bush platform. Then, there are other times, like now, when Barack Hussein Obama seems to be saying that there was nothing wrong with this Bush policy (this is the change America voted for).
Mr. Obama’s counter terrorism adviser, John O. Brennan, was more scathing about the Republican criticism. “Quite frankly, I am tiring of politicians using national security issues such as terrorism as a political football,” Mr. Brennan, a longtime Central Intelligence Agency officer, who also worked under President George W. Bush, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “They are going out there, they are unknowing of the facts, and they are making charges and allegations that are not anchored in reality.”
John O. Brennan may be tired of the politicians using terrorism as a political football, but the American public is tired of the incompetence of the Comical Incompetence Agency (C.I.A), Fumbling Bureaucratic Idiots (F.B.I.), Thousands Standing Around (T.S.A.) and the rest of the alphabet soup of agencies that claim to be protecting Americans from terrorists, and keep apologizing for making mistakes.
The American public is tired of the alphabet soup of agencies covering up their inability to do their job. Who else would claim that letting the underwear bomber on an airplane is proof that the security system is working? Who else would apologize for all Muslims every time a Muslim terrorist kills an American citizen? Who else would claim that returning American Military are more of a threat to this country than Muslim Terrorists? Who else would want to stop using the word terrorist in favor of "man-caused disaster"? Barack Hussein Obama and his minions!
Barack Hussein Obama was busy whitewashing Muslim terrorists in America prior to the underwear bomber being caught by the airplane passengers. In fact, from the perspective of a typical American citizen, Barack Hussein Obama didn't bother to say or do anything about the underwear bomber being caught until his press secretary and the head of the Homeland Security both proclaimed that civilians catching bombers on board airplanes is proof of how well the security system works.
So terrorist, like all other issues facing Barack Hussein Obama, is a political issue.
Mr. Obama has preserved much of Mr. Bush’s counter terrorism strategy. ... American troop levels in Afghanistan are tripling on his watch.
Afghanistan troops are tripling by order of Barack Hussein Obama. However, before tripling the number of troops, Barack Hussein Obama announced their withdrawal date. I suppose the withdrawal date of the troops is supposed to give aid and comfort to the enemy. I am not aware of any strategic reason to announce withdrawing from fighting terrorist. Unless it is to reassure the terrorists that if they quiet down now, they can increase their killing at a later date.
“The one thing that’s changed is there’s now a Democratic president instead of a Republican president,” said Ben Rhodes, a deputy national security adviser to Mr. Obama. “It’s fairly obvious that a lot of the criticism is being driven by politics and not substance.”
politics and not substance. Isn't that what Barack Hussein Obama campaigned on? Oh right. It was hope and change. The American Public is finally seeing the change that Barack Hussein Obama has promised.
