Offensive Job Postings.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1246201/Employer-told-advertise-reliable-workers--discriminates-unreliable-applicants.html
Employer told not to post advert for 'reliable' workers because it discriminates against 'unreliable' applicants
When she ran the ad past a job centre, she was told she couldn't ask for 'reliable' and 'hard-working' applicants because it could be offensive to unreliable people.

The part of the advert that mentions hard-working is offensive to slackers. I know when I am at a job site, I am offended when I am told I need to actually work, that showing up is not enough.

If she had asked for skilled workers, she would be offensive to unskilled workers. If I wanted to be a doctor, but have no training, I would be offended that I would not be allowed to cut open people just because I have no training or skill.

If she had posted an advert asking for people who are not missing any limbs because they would have to climb a ladder, she would be offensive to amputees. Heck, I am offended every time I have to put on reading glasses when the print is too small. It is unfair for any business to cause me to have to accept my own physical limitations.

If she had posted an advert asking for people who are honest, she would be offending politicians and other criminals.

If she had posted an advert asking for living people, she is being offensive to zombies, vampires and other forms of undead.

In fact, if she specified that the applicant must be human, she would be offending dolphins, monkeys, gorillas, ... as well as visitors from outer space.

I know I am offended when I am told I have to show up for work on time, stay for the whole day and try to get some work done.

Aren't you?
