Barack Hussein Obama says we're going to have smart, sensible screening at airports. So I guess that means that Barack Hussein Obama thinks we currently have stupid insensible screening at airports.

After reviewing the current security measures in place to protect American citizens from terrorist bombers on airplanes, Barack Hussein Obama has pledged that we will do more of what we are currently doing. But do it better. And hold someone responsible. Like now. When no one is being held responsible for the current massive failures in the security system.

However, in an effort to not offend any Muslim terrorists by his tough talk, Barack Hussein Obama has also promised that even with the enhanced security measures, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab will still be able to get on board the airplane with the bomb.

Barack Hussein Obama has stated "we have to stay one step ahead of a nimble adversary.". Barack Hussein Obama hopes to stay ahead of multiple, small, independent organizations, by having multiple, massively large, jealous organizations, that are constantly fighting against each other for jurisdiction and budget increases, all report to him, to rush through the changes needed for this to work.

This makes as much sense as anything else that Barack Hussein Obama spouts.
