What can Israel teach American about security? Nothing!

In order to teach someone, that person has to be willing to learn. One thing America has shown over and over again, is the unwillingness to learn from experience.

Consider the war on drugs. What is the purpose of the war on drugs? If it is to increase the size of the government and increase the amount of taxes collected and reduce the freedom of the citizens, the war on drugs has been a success. If the war on drugs is supposed to reduce the amount of drugs smuggled in, and the amount of drubs used by American citizens, it has been a tragic failure for a number of decades.

Consider the war on poverty. What is the purpose of the war on poverty? If it is to increase the size of the government and increase the amount of taxes collected and increase the number of citizens on welfare, the war on poverty has been a success. If the war on poverty is supposed to reduce the number of people on entitlement programs, and reduce the amount of payouts to poor people, it has been a tragic failure for a number of decades.

Consider the war on terrorism. What is the purpose of the war on terrorism? If it is to increase the size of the government and increase the amount of taxes collected and reduce the freedom of the citizens, the war on terrorism has been a success. If the war on terrorism is supposed to make people safer, it has been a tragic failure.

Compare what the Americans call "security", with what Israel calls security (and really is security).

Israel, has been under constant terrorist attacks for decades. Israel is willing to admit that they are under attack from terrorists.

America for almost a decade has been under attack by terrorists. Barack Hussein Obama in an effort to discourage terrorist attacks on America is no longer willing to even use the words "war" or "terrorist" when Americans are being attacked and killed by armed men who have stated they wish to kill Americans.

When was the last time you heard that a bomb was smuggled on board an Israeli aircraft? When was the last time you heard about a terrorist smuggling a bomb on board an American aircraft (a week ago)?

One last thing to consider. In Israel, which has multiple security perimeters, it still only takes minutes to get onto an airplane. In America, which claims to have thorough security checks, requires wait times of hours to get on a flight, and terrorists still get bombs on board American aircraft.

Do you want to know the real reason why American security is so bad? It is because this is the real job stimulus program that Barack Hussein Obama promised us. The people who used to ask "may I take your order, please" are now security experts asking "may I take your bomb, please".
