Governor Of California Complains That He Needs To Balance The Budget.

Calif. governor continues feud with delegation

My definition of any government (federal, state and local), is a criminal organization that takes from the slaves (citizens) what is produced, and either keeps for themselves (salaries, fringe benefits, ...) or gives to special interest groups (that can afford the bribes necessary to get payback). Governments NEVER give back to the slaves (citizens) any where near the amount they take. It is not possible.

The governator is complaining that the federal government is taking more in taxes than it is giving back to California. I guess that means that Arnold Schwarzenegger is dumber than he looks, and as a bodybuilder, he never looked very bright.

Evidently the governator thinks it is unfair that the federal government doesn't need to balance the budget. When the federal government can't tax any more and runs out of money, they collude with the Federal Reserve Bank and print more money.

Unfortunately, governments that don't print their own money, don't have that option. They can increase taxes (we are already having taxpayer revolt demonstrations). They can borrow against the future (until people realize the government won't pay back-can you say vouchers). Or they can complain that life is unfair and they deserve a bailout (which worked for wall street, but wall street bribed the politicians for the bailout-something states haven't figured out they must do to compete fairly with the other special interest groups).

Well, to be fair, California could balance the budget, but that would require work, and everyone on the gravy train would be upset if their special interest group got less than their unfair share of the tax dollars. So we can't expect politicians to choose this option.

So what we are left with is a state that won't (not can't) balance the budget, that is having trouble raising taxes (already the highest in the country) and can only whine that life is unfair.

Isn't life wonderful in the state of denial, I mean California?
