Job picture gets a little bit brighter
Let's hear it for the government economists.
These are the people who are supposed to understand the economy. They didn't recognize the great depression we are in until it had been running for more than a year. Their advice has helped the country recover from this great depression without having any effect on the rising joblessness and the rising homelessness and rising business failures. Although some people are starting to question how you can have a recovery when businesses continue to fail, and large numbers of people still lose their jobs and lose their homes.
These government economic experts are celebrating that their unemployment predictions for December 2009 were off by almost 100%.
Aren't you glad the government only hires the best and brightest to work for them?
