Florida says several states to file healthcare lawsuit
Florida's attorney general will file a lawsuit with nine other state attorneys general opposing the healthcare legislation passed by Congress, a spokeswoman said on Monday.
The Tenth Amendment of the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States states:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
No where in the Constitution of the United States does the federal government have the power to force all the individuals in this country to buy shoes, or to buy cars, or to buy umbrellas or to buy Qur'ans or to buy health insurance. But for some reason, the federal politicians felt it was necessary for all the individuals in this country to buy health insurance (for the good of the individual and the good of the country). The passage of the Health Care Deform bill has set a precedent. Now that the federal government is no longer constrained to obey the constitution of the United States, there is no limit on what the politicians can do next.
For a number of decades the federal government has been increasing their powers by ignoring the constitution. So, I think it is about time that we finally admit that the constitution of the United States is no longer needed or wanted or used by any of the politicians ruining this country.
