Gaza rocket strike raises fears of escalating violence in Israel
The first death caused by a missile from the Hamas-controlled area since the end of Israel's military offensive came an hour after Baroness Ashton, the European Union high representative, arrived in the territory.
The Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, fired off a rocket which killed one individual as a way to celebrate the visit by Baroness Ashton, the European Union high representative. The Hamas apologized for the low death count, and promised to have a higher death count by the time of the next visit by any visiting official.
