When Is A Golden Parachute Not Enough? When You Work For Government!

State employees pile up vacation time, exceeding caps and costing millions
Amid a crippling fiscal crisis, managers throughout California’s government have routinely allowed their employees to amass unused vacation time, enabling hundreds of workers to end their public-service careers with payouts topping $100,000, a California Watch investigation has found.

One worker combined vacation and compensatory time to walk away with more than $800,000, records show.

Many of those cash payments appeared to violate rules designed to limit how much vacation time state workers can accumulate during their careers.

You California slaves citizens are pathetic.

You think that just because you pay taxes you should have a voice in how the government works. WRONG!

You think that every time you see a government employee get paid multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars in vacation pay you wonder if a mistake has been made. WRONG!

You think that if the government makes rules, the government should obey the rules. WRONG!

The government does no wrong. The government makes no mistakes. The government is always fair. Because of this, the government should never have to abide by any rules or laws that it passes for the rest of the slaves citizens. Just accept that the State of California has an ever increasing need to pay the civil masters servants multiple times more than private business ever would. Get over the fact that private business rarely pays more than a few thousand in vacation pay. The government is doing important work (like raising your taxes) and needs to be fairly compensated for it.

If you are so unhappy about the helpful, efficient, courteous, useful services you are receiving for your minimal state, city, and local taxes, you should leave the state!
