Tax time could mean big break for pet owners
The government is currently considering allowing deductions for pets.
Considering how ruthless the I.R.S. (Infernal Revenue Service) is in disallowing deductions, I am wondering how you can prove you own a pet?
Will your pet need a S.S.N. (Social Security Number)? Will your pet need a drivers license and a credit card (two forms of I.D.)? Will your pet need a birth certificate to prove it is not an illegal alien? If your pet is an illegal alien, will it be eligible for amnesty? Will your pet be eligible for unemployment or welfare? If your pet gets pregnant and has a litter, will you be eligible for additional unwed mother benefits? What kind of pets will be eligible? Goldfish? Elephants? Rats?
I am sure that if this law passes, it will address none of these questions, and will likely be ignored by the I.R.S. (Infernal Revenue Service) which doesn't bother obeying any laws in it's pursuit of revenue.
