Several prosecutors probing health care deal
I would sell out the United States for a whole lot less than Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson. Unfortunately, nobody is offering me any money to sell out the United States of America. And chances are, if somebody did, I would get arrested for it. Too bad I am not a politician so I don't need to worry about that.
Anyway.
Why am I doing another rant on Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson accepting a bribe to vote for the Health Care Deform bill?
It is not because I think the Health Care Deform bill is so heinous that the only people who could vote for it are the ones who are accepting bribes. That is obvious. It required a never ending annual bribe of $45 million for Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson to vote for this bill.
It is not because politicians rarely accept bribes. Politicians accept all sizes of bribes for all kinds of causes. Even though this is probably one of the bigest bribes on record, most news outlets didn't even bother to report this because it is no longer news that politicians accept bribes. In the future, the bribes are likely to get even larger.
So why am I commenting on this article?
It is because a government official (7 state attorney generals) think this is so out of line that it not only violates federal law, but likely also violates the United States Constitution.
Wouldn't it be nice if the President's Health Care Deform Bill got defeated on constitutional grounds?
