Schwarzenegger approval rating hits new low

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's approval ratings soared to a new high. 27% of the people willing to participate in the telephone survey approve of his recent performance. These high number also managed to bring the California Legislature's approval rating up to 17%.

Typical news story. But what happens when you actually think about what is not being said.

If 27% of the people feel the governor is doing a good job, that must mean that 73% believe he is doing a bad job. What that also means, is that if 17% of the respondents believe the legislature is doing a good job, that 83% feel the legislature is doing a bad job.

Hmmm. I guess reporting poll results are too important to be completely honest.
