Court bans sale of Word; Microsoft has fix ready
One would think that not being able to bundle Internet Explorer in Windows 98 would be punishment enough for Microsoft so that they would never again engage in criminal activity.
Wait a minute. The punishment Microsoft received for violating antitrust laws of the United Stated didn't cost them anything. I guess that maybe that wasn't much of a deterrent. Maybe it even taught them a lesson. When you are a big enough monopoly, you are above the law.
So maybe that is why Microsoft continuously engages in unethical and criminal activity.
I wonder.
Is Microsoft a business that is too big to regulate?
