Unemployment Rate Falls to 10%

Figures never lie, but liars often figure.

The unemployment rate was too depressing for the federal government when using the methods previously used up until now. So they looked around for another way to calculate unemployment. The newest way they found to pretend the unemployment rate is falling is to survey households instead of businesses. Low and behold, they were able to come up with a lower unemployment rate.

I don't know why the government bothers coming up with a new way to lie to the public.

Now that the Global Warming scientists have been found to be frauds, why not just hire those scientists who will make up whatever numbers you want. It will ease the government having to come up with new measurements all the time to try to prop up the failing economy. Of course you won't be able to believe what they say. But by this time, you can't believe anything any government politician or employee says anyway.

Even if it were true (and it isn't), you wouldn't need to believe it and couldn't possibly count on it. When cap and trade (crap and tax) and health care reform (health care deform) get passed lots more small businesses will need to fire more staff or close their doors.

The government war on capitalist continues unabated. And continues to be the rousing success the communist-in-chief had hoped for.
